Rissons was purchased in 2002 by Anne and Scott Baxter. Since then both the rooms and restaurant have been refurbished and the restaurant menus have developed to provide diners with an innovative and imaginative range of taste experiences.

Fiona Gaughan has been at Rissons since it was purchased by the Baxters and along with Anne, Fiona takes responsibility for the front of the house, ensuring that each customer receives an enjoyable experience and a warm welcome.

More recently, Scott has been joined by another chef, Theo Giameos. Scott and Theo bring to Rissons different ideas and experiences, while both have an enthusiasm and passion for providing unique and creative dishes.

Local woman Linda Wilson is in charge of the accommodation at Rissons, and her hard work and attention to detail has resulted in Rissons being included in “Britain’s Best B and Bs” for the second year running!
